Event Description: This Halloween, trick-or-treaters can bring their excess candy to Align Health and receive $1 per pound, and earn up to $10! Dr. Tellier and his team have joined the movement to fight childhood obesity by giving away dollars in exchange for Halloween treats. “Ditch the candy, that’s what we’re saying. Childhood obesity can lead to diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Improving the entire family’s diet is one of the best ways to achieve a healthy weight in your child,” says Owner and Founder Dr. Richard Tellier from Align Health in Andover, MA. “Kids can still have all the fun of trick-or-treating, and now their piggy banks will benefit as well. The office chose to participate in the Halloween Candy Buy Back program to help parents as well, limit the amount of candy in their home. Let’s face it, the parents end up eating the left-over candy they didn’t give out on Halloween. So, this helps the entire house hold” says Dr. Tellier. Candy will be collected at Align Health on Wednesday, November 1st from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm and Friday and Saturday, November 3rd and 4th from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. The candy will be shipped to troops overseas. Each child will receive a goodie back for all unopened, uneaten candy. Plus, we will provide a card for anyone that would like to thank our service members. Align Health is a total body wellness center located at the historical Dundee Park Mill Complex in Andover, Massachusetts. Our mission is to help you feel, look, and function at your best!
