Event Description: Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the ‘American' Jets and the ‘Puerto Rican' Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world filled with hate, violence and prejudice is one of this country's most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time. From the first notes to the final breath, WEST SIDE STORY is one of the greatest love stories of all time. Directions:
The North Shore Music Theatre General Directions to NSMT: Take a right off Route 128 North at exit 19 to Sohier Road and Brimbal Ave in Beverly. Take your first left off the exit. Take the next left at stop sign onto Brimbal Ave. Go over bridge. Take next right after off-ramp from Route 128 South onto Dunham Road - North Shore Music Theatre is approximately 1/8 mile. Look for the signs located at every turn.
