Event Description: CELEBRATE RIVERS. CELEBRATE LIFE. Merrifest 2015! at the Greater Lawrence Community Boathouse 1 Eaton St., Lawrence, MA August 1, 2015 11-3 pm river_logo_FINAL_with_credit_RGB Merrifest is a celebration of the magnificent Merrimack River hosted by the Merrimack River Watershed Council! It is a gathering of people, artists, businesses, and bands from all around the area. People recognize and learn about the incredible ecosystems and communities along the river and celebrate together. This year’s Merrifest is going to be the largest yet. Hundreds of people are expected to attend! We will have live music from Los Sugar Kings, local businesses and craftspeople, kids’ arts and crafts, face painting, door prizes and much more! Businesses and vendors from the area will hold tables and the banks of the river will be lined with artists. Food and kayak rentals will be available. It is going to a great day and we would love to have you there!
