Event Description: Boston rockers The Stompers kick off a limited 35th anniversary tour at Blue Ocean Music Hall! The legendary band has long been recognized for their raucous live shows, kept alive by a spirited legion of dedicated fans. The Stompers hits include Never Tell An Angel; Coast to Coast; Rock, Jump and Holler; Eastside Girl; One Heart For Sale; and American Fun, which is featured in Adam Sandler's movie, "Grown Ups." The list goes on, as do The Stompers! BIRD MANCINI, Boston's accordion/guitar rock duo, features eclectic and at times a bit psychedelic acoustic rock-pop style with lush vocal arrangements, blues-tinged guitar, accordion, harmonica, and a variety of percussion. Along with critical acclaim and an ASCAP/Boston Music Award nomination, Bird Mancini were twice named among the Top 10 Year's Best by Metronome Magazine. This acclaimed duo have released their fourth CD, Tuning In/Tuning Out, on Second Story Records to great reviews.
