Event Description: For four decades, Little Feat has been billed as one of the best live rock n’ roll bands ever with memorable hits like Dixie Chicken, Sailin’ Shoes and Oh Atlanta. They also remain one of the most active. Lowell George formed Little Feat in 1969 and it has been well received by fans and critics ever since. But while the band has never been exactly mainstream, its music has survived and thrived among loyal fans because of its importance, influence, and tremendous multigenerational magnetism. The band’s new CD, Rooster Rag, is just out on Rounder Records.
