Event Description: SK6ERs are a roots rock band hailing from Western Mass. On their album Gift Horse, Kellogg and his bandmates— Kit “Goose” Karlson (keys, bass, vocals), Brian “Boots” Factor (drums, vocals) and Sam “Steamer” Getz (guitars, vocals)—bring the rich legacy of American rock & roll into the present tense. This is thrilling music, muscular, immediate and life-embracing, steeped in tradition but addressing the present boldly and eloquently. See this band before they go on hiatus at the end of 2012! NATIVE RUN is described as pop-country meets the rough edge of rock and soul. Though a young band, they're no rookies to the stage. Native Run can be seen at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, and Paste Magazine called Native Run "The Best of What's Next." Collectively, their music brings to bear influences from Shakespeare to Springsteen, and from Patsy Cline to Keith Urban.
