All proceeds of our MVYMCA Golf Tournament & Virtual Auction will go toward two life-changing experiences for kids: our camps and the Tom Sager Golf Academy. The YMCA’s Camping Services have served as staples in the Merrimack Valley for over 100 years by providing positive environments and valuable experiences to the youth of our communities. Our tournament will continue to send children from diverse backgrounds to the Merrimack Valley YMCA’s Camp Lawrence, Camp Nokomis and Camp Otter. Each year, hundreds of children are provided the opportunity to experience our summer camps - exploring nature, learning new skills, building confidence and making friends. With your support, we will be able to offer scholarships to children who otherwise would not have an opportunity to attend. The Tom Sager Golf Academy provides opportunities for young people to learn life lessons through the game of golf. Established during the summer of 2011, the mission of the academy is to honor Tom’s passion for the game of golf and the values it delivers by providing opportunities for deserving youth from the Merrimack Valley to share in that passion. In a partnership between the Merrimack Valley YMCA and Renaissance Golf Club, the academy provides instruction, equipment, and access for selected participants. In addition to learning the game of golf, participants also learn important life lessons in respect, patience, and sportsmanship.
